“A lot of interesting sounds, textures and melodies going on in this song [Living With Dinosaurs]. It's dense but doesn't feel cluttered. Nice stuff.”
Dom Alessio – Triple J
"Arundel has been sounding great on FBi. Support has come from across many different shows, we're digging it."
Dan Zilber – FBi Radio
“…final track, December, Autumn, Winter, featuring Claire Whiting. This trip-hop triptych in the vein of Massive Attack’s Teardrop neatly rounds out a beautifully composed release.”
Rave Magazine
"It's a bit Gotye, a bit Royksopp and 100% delicious."
It's My Kind Of Scene - Blog
"[A Deep Freeze], it is clear this is pure, nouveau trip-hop. Arundel is complex but not overdone, and utterly mystifying. I’m sold."

A LITTLE ABOUT THE EP
"I was reading a while ago about these caves in an area of Israel called Maresha, where they used to dig below the ground to process olive oil - a precious commodity back around the 3rd Century B.C. For me, the last year has been about focusing heavily on projects and refining my own craft - working away in my own cave to produce something special that I'm proud of.
Of course, the sacrifice for anyone who works hard at their passion is that it isn't easy to leave your cave and be there for the people close to you. A lot of my friends have been in a similar place and so Olive Caves pays homage to the positives that come from hard work - whatever your passion."
Lucas Arundell
released January 20, 2012
Arundel's second EP was recorded & produced by Darek Mudge at The Shed late 2012.
